A - Acceptance
am so happy it is April and once again time for the A- Z challenge! It has made me realize how much I have neglected my blog, my writing and creativity. Hopefully this will be just the kick start I need!
Whether you have followed along on my journey or if you are new to my blog, I'm glad your stopping by. I hope to hear from many of you and will respond in the comments section. My journey has been living life for almost 16 years with cancer, the last 7 with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.
I have, so far outlived all my diagnosis and learned much about life along the way. One very important lesson has been in acceptance. Accepting the parts of my life I have lost, my dreams, goals, and the simplicity of day to day activities.
The beautiful part of this very difficult lesson has been in learning to appreciate everything from the small day to day things to the larger gifts and joys of life. To set new goals, dream new dreams and look forward to the life I have instead of the one I thought I lost.
I hope you will come back to visit as I write more on these topics and how I am learning to appreciate living life with metastatic cancer.... elayne

Thank you for your insight. God used it to help me accept some realities regarding limitations that I have been wrestling with for some time. I realize it is time to let go so He can give me something new. Sure miss you!
Hi Elayne, you will be in my prayers and thoughts. Acceptance is the only way we can get through all the problems life dumps on us.
Thank you all for your comments! I look forward to catching up on your blogs as well.
I hope some of what I have learned and will be sharing helps anyone, no matter what the challenge in their lives may be.
