Continue to do the things you love....

Cooper getting his swimming sticker.

My aunt Dena is great at encouraging me to "do the things you love to do". Teaching swimming is one of those things. I just wrapped up a 2 week session with 3 classes, water tots, preschool and adult. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed teaching the kids and parents.

Next week I take my Personal Trainer Certification exam. This also will allow me to do those things I love and work with people through fitness & health. Please keep this in prayer as it has been a long, hard road to prepare for this over the last year.

An update on 2 prayer requests~ My brother Dana had open heart surgery last week and is back home and doing well! Cracking jokes and teasing me like a big brother does :)

Our neighbor Byron was hospitalized on Friday and last I heard the doctors told his family he will not be coming home, the cancer is very advanced. Thanks to all of you that have kept these 2 families in prayer, please continue to do so.

Hi Elayne........great to see you doing what you love and I'll be praying for you next week!!!!!!! I would still LOVE for you to come and teach Sarah even just 2-3 classes........she seems very talented in the water and I don't know exactly how to channel that????? I love your meal ideas......sounds like how we have been eating. Let me know what your schedules like in the next few weeks and maybe we can get together . Love N

Hi there. Sorry to hear about your neighbor. It is incredible, how many patients are diagnosed with cancer. I'm sure some of it is better technology. I do wonder about the environment, though!!!!

Meanwhile, how is your brother in Mass doing? Did he have his surgery? I haven't seen anything more on your blog.

Hope you are doing better and continuing to do the things you love.

Take care.

Love, Dena

I just wanted to thank you for putting up your blogs and keeping us updated. I love watching you and your family enjoy each other and your journey through cancer inspires me! Thank you for being so open and willing to share. I think about you every day!! I would love to get together sometime on a Saturday morning if those work for you.

Talk to you soon.

Hello Elayne,
You know that I'm always here for your prayer requests. Wonderful news in regards to your brother. Your friend is also in my prayers. I was thinking of him last night and I told you a while back if you will remember that when your think of someone, that means you need to be praying for them.
Also, what a fantastic swimming teacher you have become through the years. Yes.....I can say years, our two twenty-four year old girls are STILL fishes in the water thanks to Ms. Elayne and her swimming classes so long ago. So that needs to be said for all of the new parents that come your way. We will be an advertisement for you.
Take care.
Love, Diane
