Heart Monitor Results

I received the results today from my cardiologist regarding the heart monitor ~ "premature ventricular contraction" ( early beat, pause and release of blood flow= heart racing). Good news is that I don't need to worry about it ( fairly common) and still have the ok to train for the marathon! Bad news is they suggest I stop drinking caffeine, well I'll have to think about that one :)

The consensus so far has been No Coffee- No Way! I will cut back though :) This was good news and honestly, I was most worried they were going to tell me to stop running~ whew :)

Hi Aunte Elaine,

That is great news. I am so happy that things turned out great. Funny how we were just talking about coffee and how much we drink. Suck! You can do it.

Love you all

Great news Elayne. Gene was having the same trouble with PVC'S. He had a stress test and Doctor told him to lay off of the caffine (Ice tea and coffee guzzler). He went to decaf and the PVC's let up after a couple of weeks. Did they talk to you about trying that out? Hangest thou in there, you CAN do it!
