11 years is the time from the confirmed diagnosis. Her first visit to the doctor was actually a year+before the 11 year mark. At that time the doctors said it was fibrous tissue buildup and to check back a year later. That was a typical response for a patient her age because breast cancer was rare in younger woman; so we thought. Congratulations Elayne. You have broken all the molds and they don't know what to do with you. Thats how God gets our attention.
