After one year of receiving Zometa to strengthen the bones from where the cancer was, I am having my final IV treatment tomorrow! Because my last bone scan was completely normal my doctor said I can stop ~ yeah!
I will also be receiving my monthly injection of Faslodex which is used as part of my hormone therapy. This will be my second time to get this shot, the first one came with MANY not so great side effects that I am trying to adjust to. This shot is a literal "pain in the butt" :)
Prayer request~ is that my body adjusts to this new medication, that the side effects are not as strong this time and that stopping the Zometa will be permanent.
Things have been VERY busy this month and I am praying for strength & energy :)

It's nice to end the use of a drug ... they all seem to have side effects. I hope and pray the Faslodex will not cause you too much grief.
