I know yesterday should be a happy day with it being the last Zometa treatment but my nurse Melanie gave me that nasty Faslodex shot first and then hooked me up to the Zometa. Matt took this terrible picture of me right after :)
Overall, yesterday went ok. I had never had the 2 drugs administered at the same time so Matt came with me just in case I needed to be scraped off the floor at Central Market, which is where we went after treatment and lunch. He is good company, makes me laugh :)

I did not feel so great last night but do feel better today. Just taking it easy.Still having side effects from the new drug that we are hoping will subside with time. The side effects from the Zometa usually hit during this week and then that is done!
It is going to 103 today with 109 heat index. Back to the treadmill, or should I say hamster wheel? I am NOT a fan of this weather... terrible for runners!

Glad to hear that yesterday went ok. Hopefully today will also be a good one. You're a trooper Elayne. Maybe with all finally calming down, you can think about you with a cup of tea or coffee and just relax. Yes...I would love to chat on the phone or better yet get together for that long girl talk.
